As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been absent on and off the last few weeks. Other than blog posts I already had planned or written, I haven’t done much on this little blog. I clearly needed a break, even thought I didn’t realize it until yesterday.
I had a lovely Christmas, a few quiet days at work that allowed me to get caught up on the super exciting stuff like inventory, and took a trip to visit a friend in Washington, DC. It was a restful new year’s full of reading, catching up on sleep, and quality time with a great friend. We did some sightseeing, but mostly we did a lot of laying around and thinking about where we were going to eat next. 🙂
