Since April I…
…planted my garden
…hid in my safe place with Caty because of bad weather
…wondered why people don’t think I’m as awesome as I really am
Why is it so hard to accept that he's just not that into me? I don't understand why some people don't find me as awesome as I obviously am.

…had my two best friends in town for a visit (the first time we’ve all been together since 2008!)
…started going to yoga classes
…went to Chicago for MLA where I had some truly awesome stuffed pizza and some ridiculous pancakes
…presented my very first paper at MLA without passing out or completely embarrassing myself
Take away from @librarianlizy: there are many ways to be a clinical librarian. Not one right way. #mlanet14

…went to Vancouver for the Special Libraries Association meeting to present a poster
…got to get up close and personal with some amazing animals when I went whale watching in Vancouver
…found an amazing new recipe, especially when topped with sliced steak (seriously, put it on your menu NOW!)
…had a terrific weekend with my three closest sorority sisters and celebrated an engagement (!!)
Shopping with @viceshley and waiting for @eaburdette. Seeing my girls makes me so happy.

…lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s
…yelled at the TV like a crazy woman during the World Cup (Forza Azzurri!)
Epic match. I haven't yelled this much since (American) football season.

…inventoried my library
…grew a monster tomato (it was bigger than a softball!)
…spent lots of time cuddling with my Caty Cat
…caught up on some reading
…marathoned The West Wing, Designing Women, The Vampire Diaries, Call the Midwife, Golden Girls, Bletchly Circle, and Burn Notice
…kicked off football season by making some Gameday Sliders
…helped keep a WalMart Neighborhood Market out of my neighborhood
Looks like I get to go to a planning and zoning commission meeting to protest building a Walmart a block away from my house. Fun stuff.

…spent way too much time dancing to “Shake It Off”

Glad you made it through the scary weather. I’m sorry about your grandmother.
I don’t think I’ve been up to as much as you. But I’m hoping the next few months I start hearing some good news about some things I have going on right now.
I feel like I haven’t really done all that much but when I started putting together this post, I was shocked! Fingers crossed for good news! 🙂
