Since I was on my way back from ALA yesterday (look for my recap post tomorrow!), and hadn’t been home to menu plan or grocery shop, I (obviously) didn’t post my menu plan for this week. So I’m posting it today.
Sunday: ate at Bourbon House (I highly recommend the crab fingers and chocolate chunk bread pudding)
Monday: leftovers from last week
Tuesday: Mac and cheese, veggie burger
Wednesday: Pasta with sausage, green beans, and peas
Thursday: Caprese panini with fries
Friday: leftovers
Saturday: My best friend is going to be in town! No clues on where/what we will be eating

I don’t know about you, but it will be difficult for me to readjust to non-Cajun food this week after all the deliciousness at ALA! Bourbon House was my hotel’s restaurant but, strangely, we did not eat there. My favorites were the Acme Oyster House and Cafe Beignet.
Mmm…I love beignets. But sadly I wasn’t able to eat any while I was down there. I’ll be in NOLA again soon, so this time I’ll have to stop in for one (or 6).
