Right Now, I am…

in Adventures, i am random

Excited that Thanksgiving is a week from today.  Bring on the yummy food!  Speaking of food…have you checked out these amazing recipes some fabulous readers shared?

Working on a blog post about not being taken seriously.

Praying that this sinus infection is finally on it’s way out the door.

Trying not to get overwhelmed by my to do list for the next few days.

Thankful for my friends who go out of their way to lift me up and include me in their lives.

Wishing I was at home, so I could love on this beautiful animal some more.

Desperate to clean my house.  Seriously.  Who knew that was possible?  It’s gross at the moment and it makes me feel like a terrible housekeeper every time I look at my floors and carpets.

Hoping to get started on some Christmas presents this weekend.  I have lots to make, so it’s time to get busy!

Worried about my grandparents who seem to be on a downward slide.  I don’t really know what to do for them or for my mother, who is their primary caretaker.

Currently rereading Eldest (so I can reread Brisingr, and then move on to Inheritance) and Lord of Scoundrels, because sometimes I just need a comfort read.

This post was inspired by The Frugal Girl, who was inspired by SouleMama.

Make sure you have some serious time on your hands before you start Inheritance, because it has been non-stop action so far! (hope that wasn’t considered a spoiler, only meant as a friendly warning 🙂 lol)

Thanks for the warning! I’ll make sure to devote some time one weekend to it.

I’m sorry to hear about your grandparents. It’s always hard to watch old people start deteriorating. (That sounded weird, but I meant it nicely!)

No, I understood what you meant. My grandmother has rapidly progressing dementia and Parkinson’s, and my grandfather, already not in the best of health, is killing himself trying to take care of her. It is very sad.
