Summer always makes me think of food. Well, really everything makes me think of food, but there is something special about summer food. Grilling, vegetables right out of the garden, juicy, perfect fruits…yes, there is something special about summer food.
With that in mind, I’m hosting a round up of some of my favorite summer recipes. AND I want YOU to share your favorite summer recipes in the link up!
Grilled Shrimp Skewers with Grilled Veggie Skewers
Asparagus and Balsamic Tomatoes

So the recipe I linked is one I posted last October but it’s definitely one of my summer favorites. I swear I thought I had a post of my favorite summer salad but I guess not. :/ I know what I’ll be blogging about soon! 😉
I bet the chicken would be really good grilled, and peppers and onions are good grilled too. You could have homemade grilled chipoltle!
Mmmm! But so many of these look like baked recipes–how do you stand using the oven in the summer? I sometimes use the toaster oven if the recipe is small enough to fit in there.
Air conditioning. 🙂
No, but seriously, I do bake in the summer but I try to mostly bake in the early morning or after dark before the house gets too hot.
Thanks for the invitation. I will add your party to my list.
