Weekend Reads

in books, currently reading

First up is The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown.  I’m reading this for the BlogHer Book Club, so expect a review this week.  I’m enjoying the book so far, despite my appreciation for literary fiction.  It’s funny, dramatic, and slightly heart-wrenching thus far; can’t say what I’ll think at the end, but I think that this book could be a real winner.

My other book for the weekend is one that I started week before last, and haven’t really picked back up.  Judith McNaught’s Something Wonderful is on my reading list, and I was having a great deal of fun with it until the hero had to go all extra Alpha and get all judgey on me (and the heroine).  I’ve only liked one McNaught (A Kingdom of Dreams) despite having tried four or five, and as much as I don’t want to give up on this one, I might have to if the Duke doesn’t get off his high horse and realize that everyone assumed him dead for 11 months.

What are you reading this weekend?

I’m reading The Weird Sisters as well – love the way the author puts things together so far.

The Weird Sisters sounds like an interesting read. I might have to check that out a little more.
