Weekly Wanderings

in blogs, links ahoy, weekly wanderings

Food:

Cinnamon Muffins

Crab Rangoon

Chicken Broccoli Supreme

Cheesy Zucchini Bake

Baked Tofu

Everything Else:

How to Sew On a Button – I live in a world where I can sew straight, beautiful lines and preform emergency repair on torn hems and seams, but I can’t sew on a button.  But now, thanks to Kristen and her tutorial, I probably can.

Overwhelmed – The moment I saw this post I felt better.  I have been feeling overwhelmed for the past few weeks (okay all summer) and this reminded me to take a few minutes and give thanks.

If You Will: Topless Female Duelists – Read this for your daily dose of awesome featuring two Victorian-age noble women, a doctor who was also a Baroness, and the most interesting reason to duel I’ve ever read.  Awesomesauce.

And That’s Why You Should Learn to Pick Your Battles – I had heard of The Bloggess before, but never read her stuff, and now, after reading this, I can’t stop.  The woman is hysterical.

Do you have anything to share this week?

Oh, that crab rangoon looks so good! And I’m really eager to try that baked tofu recipe (with different sauces) this week. I usually dry fry my tofu but I’m interested to bake it.

I’ve only pan fried my tofu, which is good, but I’ve of course though about deep frying it. Any advice?
