in links ahoy, weekly wanderings

Things for your mind…

Ways to Make a Bed – gorgeous pictures with ideas to make your favorite place in the whole world (that’s not just me, right?) beautiful, stylish, and most importantly, comfortable.

Planning for a Stress-Free Christmas – Mandi from Life…Your Way has a new ebook out about Christmas planning and it’s now available for Kindles.  It’s just 99 cents AND you get a coupon code for her entire Holiday Printables Pack.

Making Christmas Merry – Speaking of Christmas, if you’re not a regular reader of The Frugal Girl, you should definitely check out her series on making Christmas more meaningful and less stressful.  I don’t have a family of my own, but I still benefited from these excellent posts.

A Dozen of the Worst-Ever “Afters” of Home-Decorating TV – I used to be a Trading Spaces junkie so I definitely remember a few of these rooms.  But mostly I just thought these were funny and wanted to share. 🙂

Manage your finances for free with Google Docs templates – some efficient googling lead me to this awesome collection of budget spreadsheets.  I was using Mint for my budget, but I need to be a little more careful with money now that the holidays are approaching so I need something a little more hands on.  I think I can find something great to use here.

…and things for your tummy

Honey Sesame Chicken

Cream Cheese Enchiladas

Smashed Potatoes

Chicken Fingers and Mac and Cheese For Two

Pecan Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting
