Something to read…

30 Things To Tell A Book Snob – There is nothing that pisses me off more than a book snob.  I see you over there, reading your precious literary fiction novel with it’s “lyrical prose”; I know you’re judging me for daring to read a *gasp* romance novel in public.  You know what?  I don’t give a s*it about what you think.  Man, this post makes me happy.  Now go tell off a book snob. 🙂

Libraries, What Are They Good For? – Everything, obviously.  🙂  If you’re a librarian and you’re having a crappy day, go read this.  It will make you feel better.  If you’re not a librarian, you should read this, remind yourself how awesome libraries (and librarians!) are, and then go support your local library.

Have American Parents Got It All Backwards? – I found this on The Frugal Girl but found it so interesting, I needed to share.  I agree with a lot that is being said here; what are your thoughts?

43 Things That Will Make You Feel Old – Seriously, if you were an 80s baby/90s kid this is a painful reminder of just how long ago the 90s were and how terrible we dressed.

A Few Thoughts Before Mother’s Day – I got to this post a little late in my feed reader, but it was too beautiful not to share.  Even though I’m not a mother, I still struggle with the need to match what I see online.  This post is a nice reminder that even the people who appear perfectly together on the internet probably aren’t in real life.

…and something to snack on

Simply Sinful Cinnamon Muffins

Light Sesame Chicken

Easy Italian Bread

Garlicky Shrimp and White Beans

Chocolate Chip-Caramel Poke Cake

As always please pin from the original source, not this post!
