Welcome to My New Home!

in Adventures, the house

I’ve been promising to share pictures of my new house pretty much since I bought it and I haven’t. But, because one of my January goals is to stop procrastinating, I’m finally sharing the pictures!

So welcome to my new house!

Because the house is large and I have a lot of pictures, I created a Flickr album to make sharing my new home with all of you a little easier. Here is the link to the album. Right here. Click here.

Did you get that? Don’t forget to click here!

Fair warning: I am a terrible photographer so these are not the greatest pictures ever. I took these on a gray, misty December day, so again, they aren’t great. And, I took these before I moved in, so these are just pictures of an empty house. When everything is finished and decorated I’ll post another tour. But for now, you’ll just have to use your imagination.  They are also out of order and I can’t figure out how to fix that.  Oops.

So what do you think?!

Gorgeous! I'm actually house-hunting myself, but I just fell in love with yours!

The little seat built into the closet is darling, and I'm incredibly jealous of your master bathroom.

Call me. I'd love to talk paint colors and furniture and anything new house or Elizabeth related!

I love that kitchen! It's so spacious and pretty.

It is a BIG house…does it feel enormous with just you and Caty? Or not really?

Yay! I'm so glad you all like it! I'm very happy here and I'm enjoying decorating it (without spending too much money!). Upstairs is fully decorated (except the landing which really doesn't need anything), but the downstairs needs a good bit of work.

Cate, to answer your question, yes it does feel big. Especially because I don't have all my furniture yet, it sometimes echos when Caty meows too loud. 🙂 But maybe one day I'll have a husband…or at least a roommate to help with the emptiness!
