Overwhelmed.

Stressed.

Tired.

This is how I’m feeling these days.  Work is insane, my cat has completely lost her mind, my house is a disaster, and I just really want to sit in the corner with cookies and a margarita (or three).

I need a vacation.  Someplace where I don’t have to talk about being a bridesmaid, solve anyone’s life problem, or be expected to be awesome.  I just want to read books on my sadly neglected reading list and maybe watch something that wasn’t DVRed three weeks ago.

I want this:

I’m counting down the days until Labor Day and my beach vacation.  This will be the first real trip I’ve been in on in quite sometime that doesn’t involve me taking care of someone or doing something for someone.  I plan on enjoying every minute of it.

If I can make it until then.
