Make an extra trip to the local public library this week to see how libraries are making your community thrive; don’t forget to thank your librarians for all their hard work! Libraries love to hear from their patrons, so use this time to reply to a library’s blog or tweet, post something on their facebook wall, or send them an email sharing what you love about the library. Maybe your kids (if you have them!) can make homemade cards to give to their librarians at school. National library week honors all libraries, public, school, academic, special, archives, everything; so make sure to honor the librarians in your community, school, or workplace!
