Today being Thanksgiving and all, I figured it was a good time for list. 🙂
…the fact that Christ died for me (for all of us). As Christmas approaches that fact feels even more meaningful.
…my parents. I really don’t have words to describe how thankful I am for them.
…The Carpenter. Obviously. 🙂
…the relationship that I have with my best friend.
…my friends. Whether in town or out, online friends or “real life” friends, I’m so lucky to have people like them in my life.
…my family. My grandmother passed away this fall and it was the first time I saw a number of family members. It’s a shame that death is what brought us together, but I can’t help be grateful that I was able to see them.
…my job. The economy is better now, but there are plenty of unemployed people out there. Having a job, especially one that I like, is something to be very thankful for.
…my health, both mental and physical. Things are so much better this year than last. Thanks to a good therapist, medication, and the support of family and friends, I’ve finally gotten to where the good days WAY outnumber the bad.
…all of you. It’s been hard to return to a regular blogging schedule, but I am trying. I’m so thankful you’ve stuck with me.
What are you thankful this year?

Ditto those things, well, I have no carpenter 🙁
but I am also thankful when I see a post from you in my maibox!
I am thankful beyond words that God gave you to us.
