As previously mentioned, I’m currently at the yearly Medical Library Association conference in Boston.  I’m a conference blogger, blogging about early morning activities.  I’m cross-posting my blog posts here so you can see what I’m up to

yoga clipartGood morning MLAers! I hope everyone enjoyed their first official conference morning in Boston.  As one of your early riser bloggers, it’s my job to make sure you know what is happening in the mornings.

I did this same blogging duty last year so this year I wanted to try to hit some things I missed last year as well as things that are actually useful to me.  Last year I attended the walk on Sunday so this year I thought I would try out the other exercise option, Sunrise Yoga.  I was very glad I did.  The Complementary and Alternative Medicine SIG did a great job organizing the session and choosing a local instructor.

I was very pleased with the turnout and that some of our international vistors joined us.  There was a good variety of experience levels, which was great for me as the only real experience I have with yoga is from dvds in my living room.   I was very glad I picked this event to do this morning; I think it helped get my day off to a great day.
