Okay, okay, it’s mid-October and Fall really hasn’t arrived in Alabama yet. On the upside, I haven’t run the air conditioner in almost a week, which is certainly a start. Is it Fall where you live yet?
Here are some things I love about Fall:
1. The need for a jacket in the mornings and at night.
2. The smell of a good fall candle burning in the house.
3. Football season (duh)
4. Sweaters
5. Watching the leaves change
6. Warm, comforting soups with fresh baked bread
7. The first day of really cool weather
8. Football season (it bears repeating because it’s so incredibly awesome)
9. Boots and scarves
I own these now! Squee!
10. Knowing that the holidays are just around the corner!
What do you love about Fall?

I love:
1) Apple cider (my grandfather thinks its weird that I heat it up. He drinks it cold like apple juice. Am I weird?)
2) The smells of pine, cinnamon, dusty ornaments and baked goods
3) Being bundled up in sexy sweat pants, oversized sweaters, thick wool socks and watching a good Christmas movie
4) Not being looked at as weird for going Christmas present shopping!
5) The cool crisp feeling where it’s slightly dewey in the mornings
6) Daylight savings time
7) SQUASH!
No, I think that apple cider would taste weird cold. I like it served warm, maybe with a cinnamon stick or some red hots.
are those boots Steve Madden? If so, then I have those! (If not, then I have a pair just like those!) 🙂
No, they are from Target. They are very cute and weren’t expensive at all!
– sweating less
– apple varieties (and picking!)
– getting out winter clothes
– hot breakfasts
– blankets
– coffee and tea (yes, I drink them all year long, but still)
– cooler weather
Sweating less is very important. 🙂
CUTE boots!
I love:
1. being able to wear my bear paw boots (LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE).
2. playing in the leaves!
3. fall crafts – leaf mobiles, crayon imprints with leaves, etc.
4. festivals!
5. the return of cinnamon, pumpkins, and apples.
6. the colder weather.
7. how it gets darker earlier (easier to put the kids to bed at a reasonable time).
8. nostalgia. a LOT of great things happened in my life during the fall months, so the hint of a wood fire, the crispness of the air, and the backdrop just feel comfortable.
9. gatherings. it seems so cozy to host or go to a family or friend-based get together now that it’s fall.
10. hot apple cider. and no, it isn’t weird to heat it!
